So the big Day is finally here. It's Christmas!!!!!
Seems like It comes and goes so quickly. Love Christmas, such a wonderful time to get together with family and friends and to remember the birth of that Sweet Baby Boy that was born so long ago in a Manger. (Happy Birthday Jesus)!
Getting ready to start cooking but I do have something to share with you all.
Here is a picture of the Scarf that I made my Daughter for Christmas. Last year I made her one that was 20 rows. This one is 10 rows and made it in no time. Works up really quick. Perfect for a nice last minute gift.
Here is a link to the pattern if you would like to make one to.

Also If your a follower you may have seen our Ernie the Elf that came to visit us last year. He came back this year. My Grand Kids were so excited to see him again.
Here is a few pictures that I took of Ernie.
He loved our little Charlie Brown Tree
He must have been busy all night. He took a nap all day in the Tissue Box
Ernie is so Creative! Who knew Toilet Paper could be so Cute!
I was so Excited to see that Ernie knows how to Crochet. Couldn't wait to see what he was going to make.
He made him self a Green Scarf. I'm sure It kept him warm last night when Santa picked him up.
This a picture of him with his Scarf but farther away so you can see the message he left Walker and Scarlett He used Marshmallows.
Ernie took a Selfie of himself. I have a wooden Frame and they are going to decorate it to put his picture In.
As you can see I think Ernie had a good time visiting with us this year. We sure are going to miss him.
Merry Christmas and may you all find Love, Peace, Joy and Prosperity in the new year. Cindy
Merry Christmas, you won the SBC blog hop prize, please head over there for all the details. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi! I saw your post at DL Thankful Elf Antics
ReplyDeleteI like the Elf photo's too - he was a clever guy - my first time to participate in the Elf Antics was this year - it was fun taking Garland the Elf to stores and taking pictures
I like that scarf you made - I was wondering if could you email me the instructions? utb01 @ att [dot] net. Or just let me know what type of stitches you are using and I will see if I can find a pattern. [If you can't I understand]
I am getting back into crocheting - Your scarf is lovely with just the few rows of stitching. I have only crocheted washcloths - I need to expand my learning in that area - I am checking on line for some self-taught learning - I did check some stores for Crocheting for Dummies book to see if that has good photo's and such but could not find one today.
- have a blessed New Year and wonderful week!
Have a happy week - Gail
