Merry & Bright Christmas Card and recipe

Hello everyone, it's feeling like winter here in Indiana. I don't care for the cold weather. I'm already thinking of the beach in Florida.

Are you all ready for Christmas yet? My tree is up, decorations are up, Cards are made, and I'm done with gift buying. So, I think I'm ready.

I'm not sure if any of you remember Ernie the Elf. I haven't posted a picture of him for a good while.

But he wanted to be in the picture of the Christmas card I made. So, I couldn't tell him no. Hee! Hee!

I think the picture seems a little blurry. It looked better on the camera.

You can't tell but I added Wink of Stella to the lights to add a little sparkle. I made a lot of these cards. I wanted a card that was on the easy side since I'm having so much trouble with my back. I used alcohol markers to color in the bulbs. The stamp came from happy mail.

I thought I would go ahead and share another recipe with you. This will be my last recipe share for this year. The recipe is for a 5-cheese ziti.

When we go out to Olive Garden, I always order the 5-cheese ziti. It's my favorite pasta from there. Since I don't get there that often and it's a little pricey to eat there, I started making my own. It's really good and my husband loves it.

5- Cheese Ziti

Ingredients needed.

1 -16 oz box Ziti Pasta

1 jar of Marinara Sauce

1 Jar of Alfredo Sauce

1/2 cup of Ricotta Cheese

1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded

1/2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese Shredded

Topping

1-1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded

3/4th cup Romano and Parmesan blend Cheese Grated

2 tsp. Minced Garlic

1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

Parsley Flakes to sprinkle on top (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.

Cook the pasta (don't overcook) drain and set aside.

In a large bowl combine pasta ingredients, add pasta to bowl and mix. Pour into the 9x13 pan.

In a separate bowl mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle mixture on the pasta. Lastly Sprinkle parsley flakes on top

Place in oven and bake for around 30 minutes. Be careful top will burn.

This recipe is super easy to make. If you give this a try let me know if you like it.

Thanks for stopping by and would love for you to leave a comment.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
