What I Love Birthday Card

Hello, Glad you stopped by. Hope you all are doing well. It's a cold morning here in Indiana. Enjoying a cup of hot coffee. We have around 7 inches of snow. Thankful we didn't get the amount of snow that they were calling for. Grand kids have been out of school all this week. They are doing e-learning.

This snow storm has effected so many parts of the U.S. Continuing prayers for the people in Texas that are still without heat and electricity and also North Carolina that was hit with a Tornado.

For my post today I wanted to share a birthday card that I made. So I decided on using my newest stamp set. It's a set from Stampin Up called What I Love.

This stamp set is no longer available. I purchased it on e-bay and got it for a great price.

For the flowers I used Pink Pirouette and Ruby Red and used So Saffron for the centers. I didn't use the leaf stamp that came with the set. I decided to use a die that I had. I think I used Certainly Celery cardstock for the leaves.

I thought the embossing folder would be perfect for this card. Don't remember the name of it.

I had wanted to get this stamp set when it came out but didn't.  So glad  I found it at such a great deal.

  5. I just love your card. This is such an amazing stamp set and the die is just perfect for this stamp. I'm glad you didn't anymore snow. WE have been inundated here with more coming next week! We like the snow but the town can't keep up with the plowing which makes it difficult to get around. Love the pics of your bird visitors. Ours are having trouble getting the seeds as they are being covered with snow. They will have a feast when this all melts! Enjoy the Grand kids!

  10. Hi Cindy, thanks so much for your lovely comments on my blog. You asked me about the birds in my garden over the winter. We have had some robins nesting as usual in my garden over the winter and along with the goldfinches and blue tits that visit daily, we have had some redwings(due to the cold weather) and red kites.Unfortunately they don't hang around long enough for me to get photos which is a shame. have a good weekend. Michelle x
