BEE Happy Card!

Happy Friday! So glad you stopped by. I have been a busy BEE making a card for some challenges. One of those challenges is the Things with Wings Linky Challenge from STAMPlorations.

I thought it would be fun to make a card using an image I created. So here is my card.

I hand drew that cute little bee, scanned the image and printed it out. Would have been easier if my printer wasn't almost out of ink. So, I had to use the one my husband uses.

Colored it with Spectrum Noir and Master's Touch alcohol markers.

Cut out some hexagons with a die from Spellbinders. Used Summer Sun card stock and a few pattered papers from my stash.

Stamps used are from C.C.Designs, Pretty Pink Posh and Recollections.

The stitched cloud die cut is from the Dollar Tree

Made the black scalloped layer on my Cricut

I had a lot of fun putting this one together and really fun using an image I made. Never thought to do that before.

Thanks for visiting and would love for you to leave a comment.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Stay Safe & Stay Crafty!

A Happy Hello

Hello Crafty friends, Hope you are doing well and staying safe. I have been having fun creating cards for some challenges. I have another one to share with you all today.

I haven't really did very many tropical cards but I love this Image from Sheepski Designs called Tropical.

It took me two days to finish coloring the image because I get so nervous when I color. I started with the leaves and didn't know if I liked them or not. Was going to print out another image and try again but I thought let me try one more section. So I did the flower. That was o.k. so I kept going section by section.

Then I came to the breast area. I wanted it to look more like ruffled feathers, so I took three different gray colors and randomly did dots of color. Wasn't for sure if it would turn out because I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to coloring.

I was so glad when I finally finished it and I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I used a Spellbinders die to cut out the image. The sentiments come from two different stamp sets from Trinity Stamps. Green paper is from my stash and the ribbon is Melon Mambo from Stampin Up.

I am entering this card into the Things with Wings linky party over a STAMPlorations.

Life Is Beautiful Card

Hello glad you stopped by. We are already more than  half way through April. Seems to be going by so fast.

I have been having some fun in my craftroom creating some cards for some challenges.

STAMPlorations is having their Things with Wings Blog Hop and Linky Party. My last two cards that I made was with birds. I entered them both in the linky party.

Today I have another card that I created for the link up and for a few other challenges.

For this card I used a stencil from STAMPlorations called Bloomdalascopic. This was my first time using a stencil and as you can see, I didn't do the best job at keeping the colors from mixing together and thought about starting over and seeing if I could do a little better the second try. But I decided to use it.

It was actually a lot of fun to get my ink pads out and try a stencil. I'm going to have to get some more.

I received that pretty little butterfly in some happy mail that someone had sent me. Glad to find the perfect card for it.

The embossing folder is called Seeing Spots, All the inks used are from S.U.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time stamp set called Cherish this Moment. Also used a scalloped rectangle cutting die and Mellow Moss Ribbon.

If you would like to join in on the fun and create a Things with Wings project there is still time. If you don't want to make anything you can still hop along and see the awesome creations from the design team.

Here is a link for you.

Enjoy Life Bird Card

Hello, So glad  you came by for a visit. Today I wanted to share with you a card I made.

I am a part of a card crafter's facebook group and most of us send out happy mail. I received this bird stamp recently and wanted to try it out.

She had bought the set from the Dollar Tree. I was actually surprised to here that they were now carrying some stamps.

The stamp quality isn't the best. You really can't expect great quality from the dollar tree. But I placed it in my Misti and it did seem to help it. The sentiment also came with the set.

Colored it with alcohol markers. Thought this embossing folder was perfect for this card. Also used a stitched round cutting die and some twine.

I am entering this card in the Things with Wings Linky Party over at STAMPlorations. I have already one card entered and I had to make another one. I am hoping to make a few more. Birds are my favorite animal and I love Spring. So this Blog Hop and Linky Party is so fun for me.

Hope you get a chance to hop along and see the great projects from the design team. They shared several techniques that I am excited to try. Full of Inspiration.

Hope you get a chance to link up a Things with Wings project.

Here is a link to the blog hop and also to the linky party.

Your'e Tweet Thank You Card

I have been going through some of my older stamps and I have several that I have never used. That's kind of shameful. So I decided it was time to start using these stamps.

So today I am sharing a card with one of those older stamps.

The bird and cage are from a stamp set called Fresh from American Crafts. The bird paper is from a paper pack from Maggie Holmes.

Polka dot paper is from my stash. Sentiment is from an old set from Studio G. Also used a rounded corner rectangle die, yellow ribbon and a pink sequins.

It felt good to use a stamp that I had never used. I'm sure there are some of you that have some unloved stamps as well.

I'm going to continue going through some of my older stamps and making some cards with them.

Stamplorations is celebrating Spring by having a Things with Wings Blog Hop and Linky party. Great inspiration from the design team.

I love Spring and my favorite animal is a bird so I had to play along and create a card for the Linky Party.

Here is a link if you would like to enter.

Three Block Flower Card

Hello, hope you all had a nice Easter. We did, was upset I couldn't make it to Church but we had a nice Easter dinner here.

We have been having some chilly weather. Was feeling more like winter than spring.  But the last few days have been so nice.

Today I am sharing a Thank you card with you. It was so easy to make.

I was trying to think of a quick design for a thank you card and came across one from a crafter that I follow on youtube.

As soon as I saw it, I knew that it was what I needed.

For the flower I used two flower punches that a friend gave me a few years ago. I forgot I had it and thought it looked pretty good with this card.

The Thank you stamp used is from Ms.Sparkle and Co. from JoAnn's.

Here is a link on how to make the card if you would like to try it.

I will definitely be making more of these. I love a simple card.

Well that's it for me today. Trying to catch up on laundry and then will be going out to pick up the sticks in the yard.

I would rather be in my craftroom. Hopefully later tonight I can get a little fun craft time in.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
