Your'e Tweet Thank You Card

I have been going through some of my older stamps and I have several that I have never used. That's kind of shameful. So I decided it was time to start using these stamps.

So today I am sharing a card with one of those older stamps.

The bird and cage are from a stamp set called Fresh from American Crafts. The bird paper is from a paper pack from Maggie Holmes.

Polka dot paper is from my stash. Sentiment is from an old set from Studio G. Also used a rounded corner rectangle die, yellow ribbon and a pink sequins.

It felt good to use a stamp that I had never used. I'm sure there are some of you that have some unloved stamps as well.

I'm going to continue going through some of my older stamps and making some cards with them.

Stamplorations is celebrating Spring by having a Things with Wings Blog Hop and Linky party. Great inspiration from the design team.

I love Spring and my favorite animal is a bird so I had to play along and create a card for the Linky Party.

Here is a link if you would like to enter.

  4. A lovely card Cindy and that's a really good idea. Im sure we all have stuff we discover that we have forgotten about. I too have been trying to use and mix old with new. Perhaps a challenge that asks to use old stamps & dies would shake it up a bit lol. Michelle x
