Make A Wish Card

Hello, glad you had a minute to stop by. We are now half way through September. Summer will be coming to an end soon. Then my favorite time of year, Fall.

As some of you know I have been dealing with Covid. I have had it for so long. I had to go to the emergency room twice.

My daughter and Grandson are finally over it. My grand daughter and me are finally starting to feel better. We are starting to get our taste and smell back. So hopefully my next post I will be completely over it.

So a few months back my sister said that she would love a birthday card with a dandelion on it. So that's exactly what she will be getting. Here is the card that I made for her.

I wanted to make something a little different shaped. So I decided on a circle card. I thought this stamp from Inkylicious was the perfect dandelion.

After stamping the image with Memento Black Ink, I embossed it with clear embossing powder so that it would have a shine to it.

Since you can't see it in the first picture, here is one showing some of the shine.

I had received the pretty die in some happy mail and thought it would work well for the card base.

I think my sister will like this one. It really does feel good to finally feel like crafting again.

While having Covid I really didn't eat a whole lot. But for the past few days I have been so hungry.

My grand daughter said that she has been extra hungry too. We were talking the other night about wanting something sweet.

So I decided to surprise her with a Lemon Icebox Pie.

She was so surprised when she opened the refrigerator. So I wanted to share the recipe with you.

Lemon Icebox Pie

Ingredients needed

2 cans of Eagle Brand Sweet Condensed Milk

1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lemon

(about 3 lemons)

3 egg yolks

Graham Cracker Pie Shell

In bowl add lemon juice, both cans of sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks. Mix with mixer and pour into pie shell. Refrigerate at least 6-8 hours. Over night is best.

I think this may be the easiest pie that I have ever made. Cool whip is perfect for this pie and after I took the picture my grand daughter added some to the top.

Let me know if you try it.

Well that's going to be it for me today. Hope you have a wonderful day.

STAY SAFE & STAY CRAFTY!
