Handmade things for Scarlett!

Hi all, Wow, It feels like I haven't posted in a long time. I have been making some things for my little Grand Daughter Scarlett. It's her Birthday today. She's 6 years old. Since her Birthday falls on a Thursday, she will be having her party this Sunday which is my Birthday. I will be turning the big 5-0.  So it will be fun to have our Birthdays together. On my last post I shared a picture of the Hat that I made her on the Round Knitting Loom. I now want to share a few more things that I have made.
The First thing is a matching Scarf. Wasn't for sure how long to make it. So I am hoping that it will be just right. I had watched a few Video's on making scarves on youtube and they said to use a Crochet hook to help pull the fringe through. I didn't have one. So I used my tweezers. They worked great!

Also wanted to share with you a Plain wooden picture frame that I decorated. I added two strands of ribbon to hold her Hair Bows. Her bedroom is decorated in butterflies, So that's what I decided to put on the front.
The pink Butterfly is from the Once upon a Princess Cartridge. The Blue and Purple Butterflies are from the Every day paper Dolls Cartridge. I cut her name from the Gypsy Font Cartridge. I added a gem to each Butterfly. Had to have a little bling.
I thought I would add a few flowers to. The Purple Flower was cut from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge and the two Blue Flowers were cut from the Gypsy Wanderings Cartridge. I cut little Vs on the end of each petal to look more like the blue flowers in the paper that I used. ( I love that paper, but can't remember where I got it)!  The leaves were made using a die from Stampin Up. I used Close to Cocoa Ink to Ink around the edges and used the S.U. Sanded Background Stamp on the name, butterflies and leaves. The ribbon was from Michael's and I made the ribbon hang down 24 inches and glued it to the back of the frame with my Glue Gun.  (Sorry that I didn't get a good picture of the ribbon. I didn't have a good place to hang it up.)  Going to add a picture to the frame just not sure which one yet.
I think she will really like her things that I made for her. I will try to post a few pictures from her party and will post a picture of her Card that I'm making for her.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! :0)
