Delicate Dahlia's Card

Hello crafters. Now that Thanksgiving is over, we are now in the Holiday season. Have you got your tree up yet? Mine is usually up right after Thanksgiving. (If not up before). But I'm running behind this year.

Started putting it up last night. My granddaughter Scarlett is coming tonight to help me. Her and I love decorating the tree.

I have started getting prepared to start making Christmas cards but wanted to share with you my last fall card for this year.

Mom's Birthday Card & Recipe

Hey crafters, so glad that you could stop by. For today's card I made a birthday card for my mom. Added lots of glitter. She loves things that sparkle.

She just turned 88 and my family and I are so blessed to still have her in our lives.

In September she had a bad fall and fractured her femur, pelvic and lower spine. She had to have surgery and then had to go to rehabilitation for a while. She is now recovering at my sister's home and is improving every day.

It was so wonderful for us to get together to celebrate her birthday. Loved seeing her make a wish and blow out her candles. 💖

A few weeks ago, I made a peanut butter pie. It is so creamy and delicious, so I thought I would share the recipe with you all.

Peanut Butter Crumble Pie

Ingredients needed

1 -1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4th cup peanut butter

3 ounce box of vanilla pudding

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 container of cool whip

1 pie crust

First make some peanut butter crumbs to go on the top and bottom of the pie.

In medium bowl add powdered sugar and 1/4th cup of peanut butter. With electric mixer mix together until it makes crumbs.

If it doesn't come together enough just add a few drops of water and mix. Add 1/2 of the crumbs to the bottom of the pie.

Now for the filling, with electric mixer, mix dry pudding mix, milk and 1/2 cup of peanut butter together for 2 or 3 minutes. Then fold in cool whip.

Pour into pie shell, add rest of the crumbs to the top and add some cool whip around the edges. Chill pie for at least 2 or 3 hours. I let mine set for longer though. Usually overnight

My granddaughter Scarlett came over and help me make this pie. For the cool whip we put it in a sandwich baggie and snipped the corner to add it to the top of the pie. She enjoyed doing that. I love when she gets to come over and cook and bake with me. Making precious memories

Sorry for the long post. If you try the pie recipe, let me know how it turned out. Hope you have a great day. Blessings to you all.
