Hello Crafter's, thanks for stopping by. I have a card and a recipe to share with you all today.
For my card I have made a square birthday card for my sister.
I have been going through some happy mail that I have neglected to use for several years. I found this little stamp that I have never used. I love the summertime scene with the watering can full of geraniums and those cute little birds.
I colored the image with several different brands of alcohol markers. For this image I used Altenew, Master'sTouch, Arrtx and Sectrum Noir. I have made color charts on cardstock of all the colors. So, it's easy for me to choose colors more quickly.
My sister Tammy (the birthday girl) got me a set of foam sentiment stamps at least 10 years ago. So, I used one of the happy birthday stamps for her card. When stamping on the card I accidently got some ink below the sentiment. Don't you hate when that happens.
So, I was trying to think of something that I could put there to cover it and all of a sudden, a little jar fell from one of the shelfs above me with little clear gems. I'm not sure what made it fall, that had never happened before, but I thought it might work to hide it. So, I added three of them to the card.
I think this card turned out ok and I'm sure my sister will enjoy receiving it.

My granddaughter Scarlett comes to visit once a week, so I usually make some kind of dessert. A few weeks ago, I made a blueberry dessert with a lemon crumble topping. Sharing with you all.
Blueberry w/ Cream Cheese & Lemon Crumble
*Ingredients needed*
1 box of lemon cake mix
1 can of blueberry pie filling
8 oz cream cheese (softened and cubed)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4th cup lemon juice(optional) for extra tang
Preheat oven to 350
Spray non-stick cooking spray or butter in 9x13 baking dish
Spread pie filling evenly across the bottom of dish
In a bowl mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over pie filling and spread
In bowl add lemon cake mix and 1/2 cup melted butter, mix until it's crumbly, sprinkle evenly over the cream cheese layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
As you can see it started to burn a little. So, just check on it when close to being done.
