Merry Christmas! So glad you could stop by. Hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas. Spending the day at home. My kids and Grand Kids will be here in a little while. I'm busy cooking. 

Santa sent a special little Elf to my house to watch my little Grand Children to make sure they are being good. 

They were so excited when he came and choose a name for him. They decided on Ernie the Elf. (I don't think they remembered that I have a uncle named Ernie).

I had a long talk with Ernie. Told him he could have all of the sweet's  in the house that he could find. But don't eat anymore of my Chocolate Covered Cherries.

Mason Jar Project and Winner of Let It Snow Blog Hop!

Hi All,Glad you stopped by. I've been busy getting ready for Christmas. I just finished making a Crocheted Infinity Scarf for my Daughter and I'm still working on a Crocheted Blanket for my Grand Daughters birthday in January. It's been a lot of work. Hope I get it done in time. Will share pictures of them later on.

  It has been SOOOO COLD here in Indiana. It was 0 last night. Going to be a little warmer tonight. I had to get out in it today and go to town. I'm telling you I hate getting out in Snow and Ice.  Oh, I miss Fall. It doesn't last long enough. 

I thought I would share a  few pictures of a project me and my two Grand Children did a couple of days ago.  

We decorated Mason Jars and put battery operated candles in them, so they could put them in their bedrooms.




                                                                            

My Grand Daughter Scarlett made the first one. She cut tissue paper in red,green and white. First paint a layer of Modge Podge,added the tissue paper. glued on white snowflakes that she punched out. She just used computer paper and then did another layer of the glue and sprinkled on white and green glitter. 

My Grandson Walker made the center one and decided to make a Ninja Turtle one by gluing on a napkin that he had. 

The one I did was made by using some pretty tissue paper that I had with White poinsettias and red berries on it and I added white glitter.

We love how they turned out and we had a great time making them. I am going to be on the hunt for some more pretty Tissue papers and napkins.

This is a fun craft and super easy to do. If any of you decide to try it. I would love to see them. 

Supplies you will need-
Glass Jars
Modge Podge
Tissue Paper or Napkins
Paint Brushes (We used foam brushes)
Glitter (Optional)
Punched out Images (Optional)
Battery Operated Candles

Was it a cut from a Cricut Cartridge? I think this would be a great project for the girls to do for gifts to parents/family. Please let me know which Cartridge,If you would please.

Hello and welcome to the Let It Snow Blog Hop. If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop along, then just start at the beginning at Lisa's  blog. If you just came from  Heather's blog,you are at the right place. 

I was so excited to be in this hop with all of the super talented crafty girls. Going to be so fun. So grab you a cup of coffee or like me a cup of hot chocolate and sit back and get comfy. 

So on to my Winter/Snow Project. While looking through my Cricut booklets, I seen the perfect Image from the,  A Child's Year Cartridge. Nothing says winter and snow more than a child playing in the snow making a Snowman. 


                                                                             

                                                                                

             
                                                                               

                                                                               

                                                                               


I made seven of these Tissue Boxes in total. Some in the Crumb Cake Cardstock and some in the Blue. I added another layer of cardstock on all the sides and the tops and embossed them with a Snowflake embossing folder and sponged them with white Ink. After the Ink dried I sprayed them with  Pearl Glimmer Mist. I also sprayed it on the white Images. I used the Scallop Oval Nestibilities for one of the openings and didn't really like it, So for rest of the openings I cut Ovals out with my Cricut.
I used my S.U. Scallop Punch to make a scalloped border around the one in Crumb Cake. The cardstock used for the border is Cranberry Crisp.  

I made these for my Mom and my brother and sisters for part of their Christmas Presents. I just have to make a couple more. One for me and one for my Daughter.

Fantastic Foliage Card for Mom!

Hello Crafty Friends, So happy that you stopped by. Are you all getting ready for Thanksgiving? We are going to one of my Sister's for Thanksgiving so I only have to take a couple of things for the dinner. One of the things I'm going to make is Corn Casserole. Now I can not think of what else I am going to take. Probably a dessert. Was going to make Pumpkin Pies. Someone else is bringing some. So as of right now, I have no clue. 

Have any of you had Corn Casserole? I LOVE It! But I have one sister that thinks it is one of the most disgusting foods that their is. (I personally think she's not normal). Christy I hope you read this.  Would love to hear some things that you are making this year.

So on to my Card that I wanted to share with you all. I made a Card for my Mom's Birthday.

I made her Card using the Stamp Set (Fantastic Foliage) from Stampin Up. 
I also used S.U. Stamp Sets- 
Itty Bitty Backgrounds and Sincere Salutations

Cardstocks- 
Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla

Inks-
Old Olive, Cranberry Crisp,Summer Sun,More Mustard,  
Close to Cocoa,Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie,Really Rust,
and Creamy Caramel.

   Punches-
S.U. Lacy Border Punch, Lg. Scallop Oval and Lg, Oval

Also used-
Edge Distresser and More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon

 


Also thought I would share a picture that was taken last Sunday. My Niece McKinley was in a School play called Princess Whatshername and she played Snow White. 
My little Grand Daughter surprised McKinley and dressed like Snow White to. 

I thought they looked so cute in their Snow White Costumes.

A sticky and gooey Birthday Card!

Hi, Glad you could stop by. Can you believe that It's already November? The days are flying by to quick. Starting to think of Thanksgiving and already getting in the Christmas spirit.

 The day after Halloween I was leaving for work and turned on the radio and heard Christmas music. They were going to play it all day. Now that may seem to early for some people. But not me. I Loved It. I was singing along, taping my hand on the steering wheel and bopping my head to the music. Now I'm sure I looked like a crazy person to anyone that may have seen me.

I am already wanting to put my Christmas Tree up. You know If you put it up early,you get to enjoy it. I have heard of people putting their tree up on Christmas Eve. Are you kidding!!!! Just Crazy.

 I am just a little chatty cathy today and I told myself that this was going to be a quick post because there are annoying things to do like Dishes and housework. and need to get those things done so that I can finish a Card that I'm making for my Mom's Birthday that is coming up in a few days.

So before I go let me share a Card that I made for my daughter Jade for her birthday.

My daughter made some Caramel Apples a few weeks ago, so I thought she would enjoy this.

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for the Apple and used my Gypsy to weld it together. I cut the Apple out again in More Mustard cardstock and drew drips on it and cut it out by hand.
Used Real Red Cardstock for the apple and sponged it in Ruby Red Ink. Sponged the Caramel with More Mustard Ink.
I used a corner rounder for the top of the stick and made it in Close to Cocoa Cardstock. Used a white gel pen to make it look a little shiny.
I think it turned out cute and it was fun to make.



I also thought I would share a picture of my Grand Children Walker and Scarlett when they were out Trick or Treating.
