Your Worth Melting For Valentine!

Hello, Glad you could take the time to visit. Getting this post up a little late. Wanted to get it posted yesterday for Valentines Day. But was having Issues with my Camera.

And also My Small town has suffered a Great Tragedy. Just trying to get through the sadness and trying to make since of a senseless act of violence.  I won't get into detail. Will just say that Heaven has gained two Beautiful little Children.

It's really cold here today in Indiana and suppose to get a Snow Storm coming our way. Starting after Midnight.  May get 6 to 10 inches. Not looking forward to It.

My Grand Daughter ask me to help her make a Valentine Box to take to School. So of course I had to. I had helped her and her brother make some last year. She would have just taken last years but It wasn't looking to good.

After several Idea's we decided on doing a Frozen Theme. Well of Olaf anyway.
I printed out a Olaf I found on Pintrest and cut it out and to be honest I'm pretty bad at cutting things out. She tried to help me cut it out but my scissors was just to big for her little hand.

But I tried to let her do most things her self. I was just there as her helper.

We covered a Tissue Box with Blue Card Stock. The back is a piece of Cardboard from a Cereal Box and covered It with some Blue Heart Paper.

Used Pink Glitter Foam letters for the front. Says "Your Worth Melting For Valentine".

Cricut Cartridges used-
Wild Card- Heart with Arrow
Winter Lace- Snowflake
Scarlett - Disney Pooh Font

Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch
and added Glitter Hearts

She Loved the way It turned out and said that Everyone Loved It at School.

Again Thanks for stopping by and would Love for you to leave a comment and don't forget to Hug your Children or Grand Children and tell them you love them.

First I would like to show you the Card that I made her.

It's a Card of a Bakery. She has been saying for a few years now that when she grows up she would like to have a Bakery and that she would call it Sweet Day Bakery.
So I just had to make her one. I had a lot of Fun making it and she Loved It.

Here is a list of the things I used to make the Card.

I would also like to share with you the Boot Cuffs that I Crocheted her. I was so Excited that they actually fit perfectly and she Loved them. I am going to be making her a few other sets in other colors.

If you would like to try making some of these. I will have a link to Vanessa's Blog at the end of this post where I found the pattern for the Book Cuffs.  I did change the pattern just a little.

On her blog it calls on Step Seven, you are to repeat steps 3,4 and 3 again in that order. I only did step 3 and 4. Which is a row of Double Crochet and finish It off with a row of Single Crochet.

When making these I had no Idea how big to make them and didn't want my Grand Daughter to know what I was making her. So to get an Idea of the measurement, I waited for her to fall asleep and I took a piece of Crochet Thread and wrapped it around her leg where I thought the boot Cuffs would be and tied It.

It worked,  Us Crocheters have got to do what we gotta do. Right?

Here is a link to the pattern.
