Wedding Card

Happy Friday, Glad you could stop by. I've been busy having a yard sale. Had it yesterday, today and also tomorrow. It's a 10-family yard sale. We are having it at the 4-H building here in my hometown. It's so big we had to have a big building.

Since I am home right now and my husband is looking over our stuff, I thought I would get this post in.

My card for today is a wedding card. This wedding was last minute, so I had to come up with a quick card.

I used a little stamp that I have had for several years and had never used. Stamped it on a stitched tag. Someone had sent me that little heart die and I thought it was perfect for this card.

Well, I am super busy today, so I have got to go. Thanks so much for stopping by. Would love for you to leave me a comment.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and I'm hoping I get rid of a lot of stuff at the yard sale.

Thinking of You on Father's Day

Hello, Glad you could stop by. Today is Father's Day,the day we celebrate the special men in our lives, Dad's, Grandfather's and husbands. So I have a father's day card to share with you all.

The deer and tree stamp is from a retired set called Nature Silhouettes from Stampin Up.

I am really liking the colors that I used on this one. I put a circle mask on white cardstock and sponged on Summer Sun ink to make the sun. Embossed the Real Rust cardstock. The folder is called Forrest Branches.

Sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Thoughts of Father.

Well that's all from me today. Getting ready to bake a cake for my hubby. He is spending the day fishing with some friends. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

Congratulations Grad Card & Cinn/Raisin Biscuits

Hello paper crafter's, Hope all is well with you. It's that time of year for graduations.

My niece Livi is graduating high school and wanted to share the card I made her.

This is my second time making a slimline card. The first one was a few years ago, Before they were so popular.

Her school colors are red and black but wanted it to be more girly so I added other colors.

I used my Cricut for the word Grad and for the graduating cap.  I clear embossed the word Congratulations. It's a set from Stampendous called Tweet Chirps.

I enjoyed making a slimline card. I have been seeing a mini slimline card and want to try that.

I also have a recipe to share with you all. I don't do a lot of baking when the weather starts warming up but I had some raisins that I needed to use up and I thought the grandkids would enjoy a treat.

So I made a batch of Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits. They are sooo easy to make. The grandkids really enjoyed them.

Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

Ingredients-

3 1/2 c. Bisquick

1 c. water

8 tsp. sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

raisins 1/4th cup- or as many as you want.

Icing

1/4th c. milk

3 c. powdered sugar

2 tbs.salted butter

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 400

(Could also turn to 425) but my oven does best at 400

In small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon

In large bowl add Bisquick, raisins, sugar/cinnamon together and mix. Add water and mix well.

Drop biscuits onto a baking sheet at least 1 inch apart. Bake at 400 for around 11 minutes,Until golden brown. Ovens do vary so watch carefully.

Icing

In medium bowl mix together melted butter, vanilla and milk. Gradually mix in powdered sugar. Mix well

Spoon over hot biscuits

Now get you a glass of milk or a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Well that's it for me today. Hope you can make it back. Have a great day!

Rose Blooms and Coffee Card

Hello, Happy Friday! Hope you had a good week. Suppose to start warming up today and the sun is shining. We have had thunderstorms for two days, so it's nice to see the sun shining.

Today I have another card to share. I used a digital image from STAMPlorations called Rose Blooms and Coffee, designed by Shery Russ.

I love the colors blue and yellow together. I think they are cheerful colors. The red goes really well with it. Used Spectrum Noir and Master's Touch Alcohol Markers to color in the image.

The sentiment is from a retired set from Stampin Up. Blue and White cardstock and yellow gingham paper. Used a border die from Pretty Pink Posh to make the stitched angle on the gingham paper. I also added some red ribbon.

I like how this card turned out. I really like that pretty digital image from STAMPlorations.

I will be entering this card into the STAMPloration Spring Fling Blog Hop & Linky Party.

Here is a link if you would like to link up.

Spring Herbs Card

It's Tuesday and the sun is shining on this pretty Spring Day. Hope you all are well.

I have a card to share with you all today. It's a digital image I got from Pattie's Creations and it's a freebie right now.

This image is called Spring Herbs. I used alcohol markers to color it. The sentiment is from a Crafter's Square stamp set. I had received it awhile back in some happy mail. Embossed the lavender cardstock with a folder called Geometric Rings and the die is from S.U. I also added some backer's twine by the sentiment.

Wasn't for sure about that sentiment. Felling it may be a little to big. But I don't think the person who receives it will mind at all.

I will be entering this card into some challenges. I am also entering it into the Spring Fling Linky Party over at STAMPlortions. This will be my third card that I will be linking up. They are also having a blog hop.

Here is a link if you would like to enter a Spring Inspired creation.
