Hello, Happy day to you all, Thanks for stopping by. I needed a thank you card so decided that I wanted to use an older stamp, so finally decided on a set called Pocket Silhouettes from Stampin Up.
Wanted to keep this card simple so I just stamped the image in three different colors. Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Concord Crush.
The colored carsdstock is Pumpkin Pie and used a scalloped border from Pretty Pink Posh on the bottom.
The thank you sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set called Short and Sweet. To finish the card I added some jute twine.
Also thought I would share a recipe with you. This one is for Oatmeal Raisin Drop Cookies.
Oatmeal Raisin Drop Cookies

2 1/2 c. quick oats
1 cup (2 sticks) butter -room temperature
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar - packed
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 c. raisins- Add another half cup if you like more
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside
In large bowl combine softened butter, vanilla, eggs and mix then add brown sugar, white sugar. Mix well, then slowly add dry ingredients. Lastly add raisins and mix.
Drop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet, about an inch and a half apart and bake in a preheat oven for 10 minutes.
Let them cool for a few minutes
Now it's time to grab one and enjoy it with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk.
That's going to be all from me today. Hope you enjoyed your visit. Let me know if you try the cookies.
Stay safe and God bless!
