Mason Jar Hello Card

Hello, Hope you all are having a good day. Tomorrow is Halloween. Do you have your sweet treats ready to give out to the little trick or treaters?

I decided that I will be making rice Krispy Treats to give out and also some yoo hoos and Capri Suns so they can have a drink with all their yummy candy.

I had cut out several mason jar shapes the other day in several colors. So I decided to make a card with one of the black ones.

I have said it before, but the Jars of Love stamp and die set is one of my favorites. I love mason jars and this is just a great set.

I hadn't made any Halloween cards this year so I decided to use some cute pumpkin paper. The Hello is also from the stamp set and I stamped it in Whisper White Ink from S.U.

The black scalloped cardstock was cut with my Cricut. I finished the card off by added some Halloween twine.

Well that's all from me today. Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween. Don't eat to much candy!

Berkley turns 3 card

It's the 25th of October, my great great niece Berkley is turning 3 tomorrow, So I thought I would share the card I made her.

I have been wanting to create something with my Cricut. So thought this would be the perfect time to.

I came across this little bird and thought it was cute with its birthday hat.

Stamped a few little specks in Summer Sun Ink on its wing using the Itty Bitty Background stamp set from S.U. Also added a pink satin ribbon.

The balloon, number 3 and the black scalloped rectangle was also cut on the Cricut.  Thought it would be cute with the cloud embossing folder. Pretty sure I got it from S.U. The sentiment is from Stampendous. I stamped the sentiment on a cute little stitched cloud.

This was a fun one to make and it was fun using the Cricut again.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope that you can make it back.

Hope you have a great week. Stay Safe & Stay Crafty!

Fall Flowers & Mason Jar Card

Happy Wednesday Crafter's,Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are doing well and finding some time to craft.  I have been trying to catch up on some cards that I need.

I feel so behind on things since I had Covid. A few cards that I needed just didn't get made.

Later after supper I will be grabbing me a cup of coffee and my phone and sneak off to my favorite place (my craftroom).

While crafting I love to catch up on crafty youtube video's. Do any of you do that?

I used to always listen to music. Now I go straight to youtube. I'm subscribed to a lot of awesome crafter's and sometimes it's hard to find the time to watch them all. So that's the perfect time for me.

So for today's share, I made a card for my niece Tiffany.

Last month when I was sick with Covid my niece Tiffany brought me some beautiful fall flowers in a mason jar and sat them on my front porch.

They were so pretty and made my day. I kept them on the porch and loved sitting out there with my coffee and watch the birds.

That was so sweet of her and she has brought me flowers several times. Most times they are a wildflowers that she has found. They are always beautiful. So sweet and thoughtful of her.

So when it was time to make her birthday card, I knew it had to have flowers in a mason jar. I have had that pretty stamp for awhile and can't remember who sent me it to me.  but it was just perfect for her card.

I decided on not putting a sentiment on the front. So that she could used it with her fall decorations.

For the red cardstock, I either used Cherry Cobbler or Riding Hood Red. I had both out so now I can't remember. Both are from Stampin Up and I used the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder also from S.U. Love the texture that it gives.

On the parts of the red cardstock  that is behind the image, I cut square's out so that I could use them on another card.

I hate wasting cardstock and pretty patterned paper where you can't see it on the card. So I usually cut out the centers. Not sure if you call that being thrifty or being a paper hoarder. Ha!

Also used alcohol markers to color the flowers, Rectangle stitched die and added a little jute twine to one of the corner's.

So that is my card share. Hope you all have a great weekend and please stop by again.

Walker turns 16

Happy Sunday, Glad you could stop by. Hard to believe that we are already in October.

Today we are celebrating my grandson's 16th birthday. Oh my It doesn't seem possible. Were has the time gone.

I have to say that I really do have a wonderful grandson. We have a lot of fun together. Although he does like to pick at me sometimes and likes to jump out from the dark and scare me. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

So today I am sharing the birthday card that I made for him. Hope he likes it.

Do any of you think making a card for a teenager is a bit more challenging? Well I sure do, especially for a boy.

Awhile back I got something shipped to me and the paper that it was wrapped in was kind of different and thought I would save it and maybe recycle it on a card sometime.

So when it came time to make his card I thought it might work. So that's what I used. I think it works for a teenagers card.

I cut the letters on my Cricut. I have a heart stamp that has some lines on it so I stamped it on the letters so that they wouldn't be so plain.

I made this a slimline card so that all the letters would fit. I think this is only my third time making a slimline. I like how much space it gives you.

Cardstock Used - Stampin Up Ruby Red and Crumb Cake

Ink- Ruby Red

Well I need to get off of here. Have lots to do today. Getting ready to make my Apple Double Crumble. That's what Walker ask for this year. He usually wants peanut butter pie. Will also be making him a big supper tonight. He got to pick what he wanted.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great day.
