Special Day Card

Happy New Year to you all, so happy that you could stop by. For my first post for the new year, I am sharing a birthday card with you.

It took me awhile to come up with a card to make. I kept changing my mind.

I knew that I wanted to add a bird. So, I finally came up with this.

Here is a list of the supplies used

Bird stamp- Not sure who makes it. It was gifted to me, it's new but wasn't in any packaging. So not sure if it's branded or not. This was my first time using it.

Sentiment was created with the paint app on my computer and then printed out. The font is called -Viner Hand ITC

Cardstock- S.U. Riding Hood Red & white

Inks- Alcohol markers, Sponged the sky with SU Bashful Blue

Embossing folder- Forrest Branches

White satin ribbon colored with alcohol marker to match bird

Wink of Stella on berries

Thanks for stopping by and would love for you to leave me a comment. Wishing you all many blessings in the new year.

  2. What a beautiful card. Love how you placed the bird on the branch and created the sentiment amid the embossing folder. Hope all is well. We are getting ready for snow! Ugh! Have a Happy New Year!

  4. So thankful for birds!! They bring so much happiness when we see them in nature flying around fancy free!! God is so good to give them to us to remind us of His provision! And as for cardmaking, just put it down and play. It will fall into place.
