Owl Be Home For Christmas Blog Hop!

Hi, So glad that you could make it to the Owl Be Home For Christmas Blog Hop! I have been looking forward to this Hop because I Love Love Love Christmas and I Love Owls.  If you get lost along the way just start at the beginning at our Hostess heather . You should have came from An'Jenic  .    I have been so busy with trying to get ready for Christmas,Work and Grand Kids and on top of that I have been really sick with Bronchitis. But I am a lot better than what I was. With being sick and Super Busy I did manage to make a little Christmas Owl Project.

For my Christmas Owl Project I made a Ornament for my Tree (Well I actually made one for my Daughter to because her Tree and all of her Ornaments were destroyed last year. (She Loved It!)

I cut the Ornament from the Cricut Cartridge Joys of the Season. After cutting the first Ornament for the base. I then added Bashful Blue Cardstock. Ripped a piece of white cardstock to look like snow. On a piece of Water color Cardstock I Stamped the Owl from Lawn Fawn Winter Owl Stamp Set in Versa Mark, then Heat Embossed with Black Embossing powder. Then colored in using the Aqua Painter and Inks from Stampin Up. Stamped the Owl Image again on the Green Plaid Paper and cut out the scarf and adhered to Owl Image.  Then added another layer of Ornament. Then added acetate that I had stamped with Snowflakes and let dry. Then added the last layer of the Ornament.  And then added some Christmas Twine. I think it turned out Super Cute and love that I now have an Owl Ornament for my Tree. Hope you all like it to.

Invite and Winner!

Hi, So glad you could stop by my Blog today. I still can't get over this Bronchitis. I'm getting better slowly. I want to Thank all of you that hopped along on the Christmas Blog Hop. You left me such nice comments and I want to Thank the ones that are now following me. The Christmas Blog Hop was so much fun. I Loved everyone's creations.

I am so sorry for not announcing the winner of my little Giveaway when I said that I would. . I have just been so Heart broken over the Horrific tragedy in Newtown Connecticut! . I cry all of the time and I just can't Imagine what the families of the victims are going through! My little Grand Children are in 1st Grade and Kindergarten and just can't Imagine them going through something like that. I have to hold back tears every time I see them. They have been getting lots of extra hugs and kisses from me. My thoughts and Prayers go out to all of the Families that lost their loved ones and Pray that God gives them the strength to get through the difficult days ahead.

I did want to share a picture of some Ornaments that I helped my Grand Children make.
I painted their hands with Chocolate Brown Paint (They Loved that part)! and had them press them on Creamy Caramel Card stock. Cut them out and then used my Your Story Machine to Laminate them and then cut them out. Then they got to glue on the eyes and noses and Scarlett wanted a little bow on hers.  I thought they turned out cute. They surprised their Mommy with them yesterday.

I think these are the best kind of Ornaments! The ones you Cherish forever!

I do think I'm going to have to have them make some more, so I can have some for my tree.

I also want to Invite all of you to the (Owl be home for Christmas Blog Hop) that I'm going to be in. It's going to be a two day hop and will be December 22 and 23rd. Hope you all can come by and see all of the Christmas Owl Projects.

Christmas Blog Hop!!!

Hi, So glad that you could make it to the Christmas Blog Hop! I have been looking forward to this hop.I Love Christmas and love seeing Handmade Christmas Projects.  If you just happened to stop by my blog and would like to hop along just go to the beginning at Ashley's  blog.  If you just came from Beth. Then you are on the right track.

I have made a few projects. Was planning on making a few more. But I have been pretty sick for the past month with Broncitas. Just now starting to feel a little better.

So for my first Project that I want to share with you is a Christmas Card that I made.

The Stamp Set that I used is called Tree Trimmings from Stampin Up. I cut out the center Ornament and popped it up. I also used a little Dazzling Diamonds on the middle Ornament and added a few pearls.

Card Base-Crumb Cake(Kraft)
Other Cardstock and Ink - Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Purple and Whisper White.

For my second Project. I made a few SnowMen Ornaments. My Daughter and Grand Childrens Tree and Ornaments were all destroyed last year. So I wanted to make her a few things to put on their Tree.
These Ornaments were Super Simple to make.
I cut out the circles with my Martha Stewart Circle Cutter(Love that thing)! Used a pencil to mark where I wanted the eyes and Mouth and used my Cropadile to punch them out. Hand drew the noses. Cut them out and sponged them and added the Yarn. I know my Grand Kids will really like these.

Hope you liked my Projects and I have a little Giveaway, I am giving away some Christmas Twine. So for a chance to win. Just leave a comment and be a follower. I will choose a winner through random dot org and announce it on December 14th. So come back on that day and see if you are the winner.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas

Wanted to Share some pictures of the Party.
First I want to show you the Baby Owl Frame that I made for Tiffany. I was planning on putting the Babies name at the top, but she's still deciding on a name. (I 'm hoping that she picks the name that I told her).  I think I cut the Owl from the Cindy Loo Cartridge. Can't remember where I got the Owl Paper. I also added a layer of Modge Podge to help protect it.   She really Loved It! I knew she would, She's Owl Crazy like I am.

Also wanted to Show you the little Owl Cake that my Niece Amy made for the Party. The bottom of the Cake was to look like a Hat Box. Isn't it ADORABLE!!!

Sunflower Card

Hi, So Glad you stopped by my Blog! I had planned on posting this on Saturday but I worked most of the day and by the time I got home it was just to late. So I've got a little time to my self today, so I thought I'd better get it posted.  I wanted to Share a picture of the Card that I made for my Sister Debbie for her Birthday! I had a good time making this Card because it was my first time making a Rosette. They are so Fun and easy to make!!!!!  Although I didn't have any 12 inch yellow Cardstock so I just Adhered two pieces of 6 inch Cardstocks together. So here is a couple of pictures.

Here is how I made the Card-

Cardstock Used- Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa,Summer Sun

Ink- Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Summer Sun

Leaves Cut from the Wild Card Cartridge and then Stamped with the Itty Bitty Background Stamp from Stampin Up with Old Olive Ink and Sponged around edges.

Burlap Paper distressed with Edge Distresser

Ran the Close to Cocoa Cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the Tim Holtz Woodgrain Folder and then rolled my Brayer over it with Chocolate Chip Ink.

Made the ends of the Penants by using the Corner of a Square Punch.

Used my Martha Stewart Score Board to make the Sun Flower and to make the Scallop I used the Stampin Up Border Scallop Punch, Sponged the Edges in Summer Sun

The Center of the Flower was made by my Stampin Up Circle Puch, Used the Sizzex Spot Folder and rubbed my Chocolate Chip Ink Pad over it and Sponged the Edge with Chocolate Chip.

The Birthday Wishes Stamp is from Stampin Up and I placed a little Green Gem for the dot of the I.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my Card and Thank You for taking the time out to visit me. Wishing you a Happy and Crafty Day! Cindy
