Senior Cards

Hello crafter's and Happy Monday to you all. Hope you had a good weekend. I didn't get much done because I'm still having back and hip problems. I think it's a nerve because it runs down my leg. It's been so painful. Hopefully won't last much longer.

On one of my last post, I told you that my daughter and grandchildren will be moving next to us. So we have been working outside to get prepared. Her new trailer is now moved on the property and the company is out there now getting the ground leveled to set the footers.

So happy they will be right next door and no more having to pay rent.

So for today I wanted to share with you the Graduation cards I made for my two nieces Emmie and Audrie.

These cards were simple to make. The senior caps was made from Cricut Design Space. They have several graduation things on there. But I really liked the font on this one.

The two stamps I used are from Cardz TV "Ticket to Talk2" and Perfect Pairing from S.U.

Cardstock came from Hobby Lobby and used S.U. Concord Grape Ink. I also added white brads to the corners.

Well that's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and hope you stop back by again. Happy day to you all and God bless.

Christmas in July Card

Hello, glad you could stop by. Hope you are doing good. It's super hot here in Indiana today. It's been really hot for several days.

I have never made a Christmas card in the summer. But I just had to join in on the fun over at Bugaboo Stamps. Also wanted to play along with a few other challenges to.

It's Bugaboo's 10th annual Christmas In July week long celebration.

The card I made is using the Friday Freebie they are offering and this is a sketch challenge for day 2.

Colored the cute image with alcohol markers and used some Stampin Up designer series Christmas paper.

I added the red stripes to her leggings by masking off the area and stamped with a striped balloon.

Used one of my most favorite tools The Cuttlebug to cut out the rectangles and tag for the sentiment. Also added a few red sequins.

The sentiment is from a set called Christmas Christmas from Mr. Cricut Crazy.

Making this card was a challenge for me because my back is out and I am dealing with some pretty severe pain.

Every time I would sit in my craft chair it would make it worse. So I took several breaks in between making it.

Even through all the pain, I still had fun creating it. If you hurry, there is still time to play along. Also still time to enter the other challenges that I have entered.

They are also having a Christmas in July sale. All Digi Stamps are 50% off until July 31st.There is a code you will have to get to get the savings.

Thoughts and Prayers Sympathy Card

I think as a card maker, one of the hardest cards to make is a sympathy card. Especially when you need it.

I love making cards for other's, to bring them joy and a smile. But with a sympathy card it's different. You just pray that somehow your card will bring them a little comfort in knowing you are thinking of them.

So today I am sharing with you a sympathy card that I made for a friend that lost her sister to Cancer.

I created this card using a digital image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I love that it already has the sentiment with it. The embossing folder I used is called Victoria.

Colored the flowers with alcohol markers and added a green sheer ribbon with a gold sparkle trim. Also added one diamond gem.

Here is a link to Bugaboo Stamps If you would like to check them out. They are having a Christmas in July sale going on. All images are 50% off. There is a code on their site you have to enter at checkout.

Celebrate Birthday Card

Happy 4th of July, Glad you stopped by. On my last post I shared with you a birthday card that I made for my niece. Her birthday is today July 4th.

Today I want to share another birthday card for another niece that is also having a birthday today.  Yes, two birthday's on the 4th. I think that's pretty neat.

This card is similar to the last one I made. Used the same firework stamps from Whimsy Stamps.

The stamp set is called Christmas Scene builder. It's a great set with some Christmas images and other images. The fireworks are perfect for a card for the 4th.

I have had the set for awhile, so not sure if they still carry it or not.

Well that's my post for today. I have lots to do today.

Hope you all have a great Independence day and God bless!

Butterfly Birthday Card

Hello and Happy July. I have a niece having a birthday on the 4th of July and wanted to share with you the card that I made for her.

I knew that I wanted to make a card using red white and blue and also knew that I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it.

I feel like I'm kind of running behind on everything because I spent several nights with my Mom.  It was great getting to spend some time with her.
It had been months since I had stayed because of the virus.

But now I feel like I'm trying to catch up on the cards that I needed to make, plus housework, yard work and other things.

We are also removing an older trailer of the property so that our daughter can move her new one in.

Can't wait until they are all moved and settled. The grandkids will be able to just walk over. I will love having them so close.

I also have another niece having a birthday on the 4th. I will be sharing the card for her on the 4th. So hope you can make it back.

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you enjoy this beautiful day that our Lord has made. God bless!
