Blossom Branch Sympathy Card

Hello, glad you stopped by. Were having a few days of cooler weather here in Indiana. Almost feels like fall.

I have had to make a few sympathy cards lately and I needed another one so I wanted to share with you the card that I made.

The flowers are called Blossom Branch. It's part of a digital stamp set called Do Not Worry from Graciellie Designs.

It is such a pretty set. This my first time coloring the flowers. I uploaded it to Design Space and had the Cricut cut it out.

I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color it. The card came together pretty quickly after I got the flowers colored and cut because I used an embossing folder. I was afraid that the card would look to plain, but after it was done I was o.k. with it.

That's my post for today. I have a lot to do. Hope you enjoyed your visit. On my next post I will be sharing another recipe. So hope you can make it back.

Please leave a comment, so that I can come visit you. Blessings to you, Cindy

Crocheted Magnetic Note Holder & Winnings

Hello paper crafter's. Glad you stopped by. We are now in August (The dog days of Summer). These are the days that I am thankful for air conditioning. I can't do the heat.

I want to share a little project that I made to send to my niece for her birthday. She is in the Air Force. (Now a Captain) So I don't get to see her very often.

It's a magnetic note holder for her to put on her refrigerator. We both love to Crochet. She also loves to knit, so I thought she would really enjoy this.

Was really easy to make. I really like the crocheting that I did along the side and a great way to use up some of my little clothes pins.

Now my daughter is wanting one. So I am planning on making her one. I'm thinking in a coffee theme.

Also wanted to share that I won a $50.00 gift card from Pretty Pink Posh and wanted to share with you all what I picked out.

I am so beyond excited. I can't wait to create some cards with these pretty stamps and dies.

Have you ever checked out Pretty Pink Posh? If not, you should. They have stamps, dies, stencils and more.

Here is a link to there shop.

That's my post for today.  Happy day to you and stay safe!

Don't Worry about Anything Card

Hello Crafty friends, Hope all is well with you. During these crazy and uncertain times that we are living in, I am so glad to have a hobby to keep me busy and that brings me so much joy. I'm sure you all feel the same way.

I just found out that someone else that I know has the virus. Praying for her and her family. She already struggles with so many health issues and recently fell down stairs and broke her neck. Please keep her in your prayers. I will be making her a card soon.

Today I want to share with you all a word of encouragement card that I made someone from my Church that has been having complications from a kidney transplant. She has been admitted back into the hospital.

I love this Bible verse and I thought it was a perfect verse to send to her to let her know not to worry and that God knows our needs.

I colored the flowers with Stampin Up Blends in Calypso Coral. The leaves were colored with Spectrum Noir. Also used a touch of yellow for the centers.

Thanks for stopping by and would love for you to leave a comment. Happy Day to you. Stay safe and stay crafty!

Senior Cards

Hello crafter's and Happy Monday to you all. Hope you had a good weekend. I didn't get much done because I'm still having back and hip problems. I think it's a nerve because it runs down my leg. It's been so painful. Hopefully won't last much longer.

On one of my last post, I told you that my daughter and grandchildren will be moving next to us. So we have been working outside to get prepared. Her new trailer is now moved on the property and the company is out there now getting the ground leveled to set the footers.

So happy they will be right next door and no more having to pay rent.

So for today I wanted to share with you the Graduation cards I made for my two nieces Emmie and Audrie.

These cards were simple to make. The senior caps was made from Cricut Design Space. They have several graduation things on there. But I really liked the font on this one.

The two stamps I used are from Cardz TV "Ticket to Talk2" and Perfect Pairing from S.U.

Cardstock came from Hobby Lobby and used S.U. Concord Grape Ink. I also added white brads to the corners.

Well that's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and hope you stop back by again. Happy day to you all and God bless.

Christmas in July Card

Hello, glad you could stop by. Hope you are doing good. It's super hot here in Indiana today. It's been really hot for several days.

I have never made a Christmas card in the summer. But I just had to join in on the fun over at Bugaboo Stamps. Also wanted to play along with a few other challenges to.

It's Bugaboo's 10th annual Christmas In July week long celebration.

The card I made is using the Friday Freebie they are offering and this is a sketch challenge for day 2.

Colored the cute image with alcohol markers and used some Stampin Up designer series Christmas paper.

I added the red stripes to her leggings by masking off the area and stamped with a striped balloon.

Used one of my most favorite tools The Cuttlebug to cut out the rectangles and tag for the sentiment. Also added a few red sequins.

The sentiment is from a set called Christmas Christmas from Mr. Cricut Crazy.

Making this card was a challenge for me because my back is out and I am dealing with some pretty severe pain.

Every time I would sit in my craft chair it would make it worse. So I took several breaks in between making it.

Even through all the pain, I still had fun creating it. If you hurry, there is still time to play along. Also still time to enter the other challenges that I have entered.

They are also having a Christmas in July sale. All Digi Stamps are 50% off until July 31st.There is a code you will have to get to get the savings.

Hello, Hope your doing well. Glad you could stop by. I just got home from spending a few days with my Mom. So nice to spend some time with her.

I feel like I have a lot to do since I have been gone. So this will be a quick post. On my last post I shared with you a Sympathy card. Unfortunately, I had to make another one. So wanted to share it with you all.

Sorry for the quality of the picture. A little blurry. Really didn't like how it turned out. But I was in hurry because I need to get it sent out.

That's It for me today. Hope you can come back. Happy weekend to you all. Have fun and stay safe!

Thoughts and Prayers Sympathy Card

I think as a card maker, one of the hardest cards to make is a sympathy card. Especially when you need it.

I love making cards for other's, to bring them joy and a smile. But with a sympathy card it's different. You just pray that somehow your card will bring them a little comfort in knowing you are thinking of them.

So today I am sharing with you a sympathy card that I made for a friend that lost her sister to Cancer.

I created this card using a digital image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I love that it already has the sentiment with it. The embossing folder I used is called Victoria.

Colored the flowers with alcohol markers and added a green sheer ribbon with a gold sparkle trim. Also added one diamond gem.

Here is a link to Bugaboo Stamps If you would like to check them out. They are having a Christmas in July sale going on. All images are 50% off. There is a code on their site you have to enter at checkout.
