Vintage Rose Valentine Card

Hello there, It's early Tuesday morning. The grandkids spent the night. They just got on the bus.
Heavy rains today and then going to get high winds later this afternoon. I can tell It's not as cold. Suppose to get around 40 today. I am so tired of the bitter cold.

I'm so glad that you could stop by. It's almost Valentines day. Hopefully you have your Valentine projects completed.

For today I want to share a card that I made. I really enjoy making Valentine Cards and I really enjoyed making this one.

At first when thinking how I wanted to make this card I planned on making It a regular A2 sized rectangle card.

But as I was doing my sketch of what I wanted I decided on maybe a circle or oval would look prettier. So I decided on the oval. I just think It gives It more of a vintage feel.

I do think It turned out pretty and love that embossed border.
I made this Card for my Mom, It will be going out In the mail today. I Love making her Cards and I think she will Love this one.

Here Is a list of Items used-

Oval Die Cut shapes- Wild Card Cartridge
Stamp Sets- Vintage Rose (First Time using this stamp set) and Itty Bitty Background
Cardstock- Red Riding Hood and Whisper White
Inks-  Ruby Red, Pink Pirouette, Always Artichoke and          Mellow Moss

Little gift Bag and Boxes

Hello, Hope you are having a good day. Glad you could stop by. Lots of rain here. The winds are suppose to get very strong this evening with heavy rain.

On my last post I shared a birthday card I made for my Grand Daughter.
Today I thought I would post a few pictures of the small Boxes that I made to put some of her gifts In.

The first one Is a small purse that I created using the forever young Cartridge. Also used was a stamp set called Hello Friend from Fiskars.

Next Is a long box that I found on youtube. It was perfect for the mascara that I got her. Super easy to make. You can find this box on youtube. Look up Linda Parker (Galaxy Ripple Chocolate Treat Box.) Love her channel.

The next little Wedge Shaped box I found on youtube as well. Wanted something to put her necklace In and thought this one would be perfect and It was.

I did forget to crop this picture. Oops!  The stamp is from the stamp set called Punch Bunch from S.U. Then cut it out with a stiched square die. The Designer Paper Is retired from Stampin Up.

If you would like to see how this is made you can find It it on youtube. The youtuber's name Is Crafty Caroline.

I Love making Box's and Bags. I really do and love that these were so easy. Hopefully you will give them a try to.

Thanks again for stopping by. Hope you stop back by. I will be posting some Valentine projects very soon.

Have a Super Day and God Bless!

Happy Birthday Pre-teen Card

Hello, Happy Thursday to you, Hope your having a nice day. So glad you could visit my blog. Has been really cold here In Indiana. I have been having a hard time keeping warm. Suppose to start warming up some tomorrow.

Today I want to share a birthday card that I made for my grand daughter Scarlett River.

As you can tell by the card my grand daughter Is turning 12. Just one more year until he turns a teenager. YIKES!

She Is excited about turning 13 next year. I told her to just enjoy being 12.

She Is starting to like a little makeup. A (little) Is o.k. (I think)

She does like fingernail polish. So thought that might make a cute card. She really Isn't girly girly and doesn't care for the color pink. One of her favorite colors Is blue. So why not blue polish.

I think I used the Wild Card Cartridge to make the scallop card base. Fingernail Polish Is from the Forever Young Cartridge and the 12 was cut from the Rock Princess Cartridge.

Fun little card to make. I think she will like It.

Again Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment so that I can come visit you. Happy Day to You!

Panda Birthday Card

Hello, Glad you could stop by. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Today I want to share a card that I made for a child's birthday.

Seemed kind of strange not making something for Christmas. But It was actually fun to do something different.

Made this card for a Birthday Challenge Giveaway. This Is my entry for the challenge. The host of the challenge Is Craftpurge on youtube. (Love her Video's)

To be entered into the giveaway you had to make a birthday card for her to put in her stash of cards for her to give out to her family and friends. Thought that was such a fun way to have a giveaway. I may not win, but that o.k. I had fun making It.

I had recently bought the dot paper and blue cardstock from JoAnns and thought they would work well together for a birthday card.
Made a mask of the panda and sponged blue to make clouds.

Here Is a list of supplies-

Stamps- Party Panda and Short and Sweet
Cricut Cartridge- Cricut Fonts and Basic Shapes (For Ovals)
Embossing Folder- Divine Swirls
Cardstock- Blue(Gumball), Summer Sun, Whisper White and Basic Black
Patterned Cardstock- Cordination's (Lots of Dots)
Pink Sheer Ribbon
Sponge
Stamp Perfect for a nice dark black Image

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you all a wonderful New Year.

Christmas Gift Card/Treat Holders

It's here, It's Christmas Day, The day we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

My daughter had to work today, so the the grandkids spent the night. As soon as she gets here we will open gifts and then we will be heading to her house to open gifts and to have Christmas dinner. (The kids are having a hard time waiting)

She Is making everything. I don't have to cook. I don't think I can remember the last time I didn't cook on Christmas.

We went to our sons house last night. Opened presents and he had made a Italian dinner.

I feel so blessed to be alive to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior with my family. As some of you know I had emergency surgery earlier In the year and nearly died.

Finally after a week In the hospital and a month and a half In rehabilitation I got to come home.   I still have to have two more surgeries and not looking forward to them but just so thankful to be home.

So for today I would like to share with you some little gift card/treat holders that I made.

I made several of these and had such a fun time making them. They were really easy to make.

Thought the candy cane looked cute on them. Didn't want to decorate them to much since they will probably be thrown away.

Well that's all for me.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and a very Merry Christmas!

Still Night Christmas Card

***It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,* Everywhere you go.***  Thought I'd sing a little for you. Hee! Hee!

The days to Christmas seems to be flying by. It's almost here and I'm almost ready.  Need time to slow down just a little so that I can get everything done.

I hadn't made Christmas Cards for a few years and decided to this year. I think what takes the longest Is trying to figure out what to make and then to get an assembly line going.

I made two different designs this year. If you would like to see the other Christmas Card that I made it is on a post a few back.

So here Is one of the cards that I made this year.

Decided on making the cards with the Owl Die Set because I Love Owls and have a collection of them. Even my curtains In my craft room have Owls on them.

Took me awhile to make these cards. I had to make several. In several I mean a lot.

I know you can't tell from the picture but I spayed Pearl Glimmer Mist on them. So they are sparkly. Wish you could see It.

Well It's almost time for us to head off to Church. My Grand Daughter Is going to be reading some verses In Luke about the birth of Jesus.

Thank you for stopping by. Wishing you all a Wonderful Christmas.
