Mushroom Birthday Card

Hello, hope you're having a good day. I have a birthday card to share with you all.

This card is for my niece Amanda. I had made her a mushroom card last year for her birthday and she loved it but sadly her home burned down and lost almost everything that she had including some of her animals.

Thankfully someone driving by seen the fire and busted the door down and pulled her out. She was asleep and she was breathing in the smoke. If he hadn't stopped, she probably wouldn't have made it.

So, for this year I happily made her another mushroom card. I used the same stamp set as before but I used the larger mushrooms.

It's actually one large stamp with large mushrooms on one side and smaller ones on the other side. It's from In Love Arts Store and it's called Hello Autunm.

Here are the other items used-

Sentiment from SU Happy Thoughts

Alcohol Markers- Spectrum Noir, Masters Touch and Arrtx

Cardstock- SU Real Red, Black and White

Sponged Sky- SU Bashful Blue Ink

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Wink of Stella

White satin ribbon colored green with alcohol marker

That's all from me today. Hope you can come back sometime and remember to check your smoke alarms to make sure they are working properly.

 Have a wonderful day!

Birthday Wishes Card

Hello and welcome, Glad you found a little time to visit me. For today's card share I have created a birthday card.

Sorry that the picture is a little blurry. I took it really late at night. I really shouldn't be allowed to do anything when I'm sleepy.

On the watering can I decided to do something a little different. I decided on just tapping the alcohol markers all over instead of the usual way. Wasn't for sure if I liked the look of it or not and almost threw it away. But finally decided to use it.

The watering can is from Pretty Pink Posh called Flower Bouquets. The sentiment comes from a set called Birthday Rose Corner from Memory box. The stitched die is from Reverse Confetti (I think). It's not in the original package anymore.

Cardstock-Calypso Coral, White and black

Patterned paper is from a 6x6 paper pack

Alcohol Markers used- Master's Touch, Arrtx, Spectrun Noir

Blue satin ribbon

I think the finished card turned out ok and I did have fun getting to color again.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you can stop by again sometime. Have a wonderful day.

Birthday card for my Sister

Hello so happy you stopped by. Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for one of my sister's. Had to add some purple because her favorite color is purple. It's also my favorite.

The birds are from a stamp and die set from Pretty Pink Posh. First time using them. Used alcohol markers to color them. I hadn't done any coloring for a while, so I had fun. I like coloring smaller images rather than larger ones.

I'm not very good at coloring and large images are kind of intimidating and makes me nervous.

This was my first time using this die. Can't remember where I got it. I have all of my dies out of there packaging and put in binders with magnetic sheets.

I made the sentiment on my computer and then printed it out. It's so nice to be able to do that when you don't have the right stamp. The font is from Dafont. It's called Small Kitchen.

Cardstock that I used are Old Olive, Black and White. The Gingham paper I had in my stash.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my latest card. Thanks again for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

Graduation Card for Walker

Hello and thanks for stopping by. Today my grandson Walker Quade will be graduating from high school. I'm having mixed emotions about him graduating.

I'm so happy for him and feel blessed to be able to be here for the celebration. But I'm also sad that he is no longer that sweet little boy that would stop by after getting off the bus looking for something good to eat.

He has grown up into a wonderful young man that I'm very proud of and yes, he is still sweet.

So, I wanted to share with you all the card I made for him.

This card came together fairly quick. Well, it would have been done a little sooner if I hadn't mess up the hat and had to make a second one.

Made the graduation hat on my Cricut and the sentiment is from a set called Perfect Pairing from S.U.

It's going to be a busy day, so I need to get going. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Just For You Mother's Day Card

Good evening, it has been a gorgeous day here in Indiana. 64 degrees. Sunny, Blue skies with giant fluffy clouds, birds singing and a light breeze. Can't beat this weather. I hate it when it gets too hot.

We are just a few days away from Mother's Day, I wasn't for sure if I was going to be able to get a card made. But I finally got it done.

My Mom is 87 years young and has always loved my cards that I have created for her. She love's sparkly things so of course I had to add some sparkle. It's actually a lot more sparkly in person.  I think she will be happy with this one.

Since I didn't have a lot of time I decided on a napkin card. They are great if you need a fast card. The longest part is waiting for the napkin to dry to the cardstock. I thought I was done but remembered to add a few pearls for one of the challenges.

Wanting to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of you. Thanks for stopping by. God bless!

Bridal Shower Card

Hello and happy Tuesday to you all. Today I am sharing a Bridal Shower card that I made for my great-niece Amber.

Her bridal shower theme is Bees. Such a cute theme, but I wasn't for sure if I had any stamps of bees. Finally found one.  So here is the card that I made her.

The stamp set is from Bo Bunny called Hello Sunshine. I had only used this stamp set one other time, so it was nice to get to use it again.

The sentiment I typed out in Cricut design space and printed it with my printer. The font is called Ink Free.

Used a larger scalloped rectangle die to make the card base. Also used a smaller die from the same set for the card front.

The designer paper is from Bo Bunny it's also called Hello Sunshine. Also used white and black cardstock.

Colored the little bees with alcohol markers and used a red glitter heart sticker for them to hold. I almost never use stickers, so I was happy to use one.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!

Hated to throw It away after all that. So glad that I could save It.

Young & Sweet and only 17 Birthday Card

Good morning, so glad you could stop by. For my card today I made my granddaughter a record player card.

When she was a little girl, we would listen to all sorts of music. Having fun singing and dancing. One of the songs that we liked was a song from the 70's called Dancing Queen.

I told her that when she turned seventeen, I would play the song for her. Well, that day is here. Today is her 17th birthday. The years have flown by. I wish I could turn back time and go back to those fun times.

So, for her birthday card I wanted too somehow add that song to it. So here is the card I came up with.

The stamp and die set are from Sugar Pea Designs called Greatest Hits. Also used various dies and star punch.

I used the draw feature on Cricut to create the words to the song. It was my first time using it. I didn't have a Cricut pen in black, so I used an extra fine sharpie.

I had to take out the center pen holder and wrapped two pencil grippers around the pen. You do have to cut one side of the gripper. I tried just one gripper, but it wasn't enough to keep the pen steady. Was so happy that it actually worked.

For the card I also used S.U. clear embossing powder, versa mark, brads, heat gun, packing foam to use with my cutting dies and my very old and very loved cuttlebug.

You can't tell but the record is shiny from the clear embossing powder.

I wanted to add a disco ball but didn't have anything like it, so I cut out three circles with glitter silver cardstock. The stars are also made with yellow glitter cardstock.

Hoping that she likes her card. She will be coming later after school. We will be listening to Dancing Queen and having her favorite Strawberry Angel Cake. (You can find the recipe on the left-hand side bar.)

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Scarlett River!!!
