I can't get over that It's already July. The year seems to be just
flying by. Before we know It, It will be Christmas.
Today is my Sister Tammy's Birthday. They are having her a Surprise Birthday Party later today.
So I thought I would share with you the Card and gift that I made her.
First I will start with her Card. I must tell you that this is not the Card I had planned on making her. I had all my stuff out to make her card and my 8 year Grand Daughter Scarlett looked at it and said No Mamaw, I think you should make her a Card with an Old Phone on It.
She said that because my Sister still uses an old phone and she knew that I had an old Phone Stamp.
So as soon as I brought out the Stamp and some paper with old phones on It, She yelled YES!!!
So that Is how this Card was made and my little Crafty Side Kick helped me make It.
This was my second time using my New Spellbinders Die Beaded Circle and I just Love It.
For the phone I stamped It first in Vera Mark and used Black Embossing powder.
(You should have seen Scarlett's eyes when I heated It up and the Embossing Powder turned Shiny.) She thought that was so Cool.
Last Month I made one of my other Sisters a Crocheted Mason Jar Cover. So I thought I would make something similar.
So here Is what I made for her.
I got the Blue Jar at Michaels and the yarn is Peaches and Cream Cotton called Stars and Stripes. I got It from Mary Maxim. I Love how the White has specks of Red and Blue In It.
I did have a little Issue at first. I was making the bottom to big. So I changed a few rows to Half Double Crochet and it worked. Because you need it to be snug so it It won't fall off of the Jar.
But I do love how it turned out and I think my Sister is going to Love It. She Loves to decorate for the 4th of July.
Here is the link to Mary Maxim if you would like to check it out. The Peaches and Cream was on sale. Not sure if it still is or not. They even sent me a catalog with my order.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope all of my fellow Americans have a safe and fun 4th of July.

Teacher Thank You Cards
It's Wednesday (Hump Day). Hope your doing well. Glad you could stop by.
Wanted to Share with you the Thank You Cards that I made for my Grand Children's Teachers. Yes, I had to make four, Two Teachers and two Helpers.
I must say I had a lot of fun making the Cards and my Grand Children said their Teachers and Helpers loved them. So I was glad they enjoyed them and hope you enjoyed seeing them to.
Here is List of products that was used-
Cardstock- Crumb Cake, Black
Ink- Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Stamps- Banner from Studio G, Thank You from Stamp Craft
Apple - Create a Critter Cartridge
Chalks- from strips of white card stock
Wood Grain Embossing Folder - Rubbed Crumb Cake Ink on Folder
Stampmajig
Stampin Up Corner Rounder
Red and White Twine
Took a piece of Paper Towel and rubbed Whisper White Ink lightly on the black card stock to make it look like Chalk had been erased on the chalk board.
Thanks for stopping by, Mamaw Cindy

Spellbinders Shaped Card!
As some of you Crafter's already know, Michaels Craft Stores are putting the Spellbinders Dies on Clearance. The nearest Michaels is around 50 miles from my home. So I don't get to go as often as I would like.
But recently I went and found a few on Clearance. I was really excited. But was kind of Bummed that I didn't find a couple of the ones that I wanted. Especially one called Beaded Circle.
I had posted on the Facebook Group CUTTLEBUGing (Awesome Group) that I was wanting it.
A woman named Lori had said that she had seen one but didn't get It and that she would try to go back and see if they still had It.
A few days later she messaged me and said that she had found It.
To tell you the truth I was in shock that It was still there and was so Super Excited. Was going to trade Lori for another Spellbinder that I had an extra of. But she said she already owned It.
So Lori gifted it to me. Is she not the Sweetest to do that? So I received It the other day.
So I just had to make Lori a Thank You Card and I knew that I wanted to use the Beaded Circle Die.
So here is the Thank You Card that I made for her.
I used the Beaded Circle Die to make a Shaped Card. The Base of the Card is in white (There are Video's on you tube on how to use your Spellbinders to make Shaped Cards) and then the front of the Card I used a Purple Cardstock and Embossed It.
I then cut out a circle in white using my Martha Stewart Circle Cutter and stamped It with the Stampin Up Stamp Set called Blossoms Abound and the Thank You is from the Stampin Up Stamp Set called Short and Sweet.
I used Stampin Up Inks in -Lavender Lace and Old Olive.
I think the Card turned out nice. I hadn't used those Stamp Sets for awhile so that was nice getting to use those again, But most of all I was Tickled to use the Beaded Circle Die for the first time. (I Love It!)
Not sure If Lori would want me to post her full name. So again Lori, THANK YOU!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a Great Day and Stay Crafty my Friends. Mamaw Cindy

Crochet Mason Jar Cover
Happy Tuesday to you, I just back from the health Department. Had to get a TB Test for work. That was Fun. (NOT).
Hope you had a good Memorial Day and that you got to spend some time with loved ones. We went to a Cook out at my Sisters. Had a good time. Going to be getting some storms later on this evening.
My Grand Children have started their Baseball and Softball Games. I really enjoy seeing them play. My Grand Daughter has one later today. But will probably get canceled If we get bad weather.
Thought I would share with you what I made for my Sister for her Birthday.
I bought a Purple Mason Jar from JoAnns Store and Crocheted a Cover for It.
I used Sugar and Cream Cotton Yarn called Potpourri. I liked the little specks of color in it. I added a Tea Light. But she can use It for lots of different things.
Here is a link to the pattern that I used. In the pattern you are to Crochet all the way to the top. I decided to change it a little because I wanted some of the purple of the top the jar to show.

Hope you all liked the Gift for my Sister and hopefully you will give It a try to.

Crochet Sunshine Doily!
Hello all you Crafty Girls and Crafty Guys to. It's a Gorgeous Friday. I have loved the past few days because we have had cooler weather but going to be a little warmer today and the humidity is going to come back. I really don't care for the weather when it gets to hot and humid.
Today I wanted to share with you the Doily that I made my Mom for Mothers Day. I had never made one before. I did have a little trouble with trying to understand the pattern. I kind of think the pattern may have been messed up a little. Not sure, but I figured it out.
The Yarn that I used was Peaches & Cream Cotton called Sunshine and a white cotton for the edging.
This is the only picture I took of It. So It is when I was blocking It, So to get out any bumps. I don't have any pins so I just use tooth picks. Works just as good to me. I put Aluminium foil under it so when I spray it my box won't get wet.
I do Love the yellow and my Mom LOVES It!!! She is doing one of her rooms in yellow and she said it will be perfect for the room.
Now I do want to let you know that the Pattern for this is actually for a Rug or Doily. I didn't make it as big as you can make it.
Here is the link for the Rug/Doily-

Sunrise Sympathy Card!
Hello,I haven't made a post since February. I know this is going to sound shocking but I just haven't been in a Crafty mood. I know that's terrible right? I did make a Book Mark last week for my niece. She was at a Camp where you take time to get closer to the Lord. So I had made her a Book Mark to go along with her letter. It did turn out very pretty. Just wish I had remembered to take a picture of it before I sent it. You should have seen the look on my face when I realized that I had forgot.
So I am sharing a Sympathy Card that I made. I really need to make up several Sympathy Cards. It's just to hard to try to make one when you really need one. I have learned that from a personal experience.
This card has no layers. It's just one piece of Cardstock. I used post- It- Notes to mask and then sponged Summer Sun Ink by using a piece of Cardstock to make a Sunrise effect.
I then stamped the flowers in Versa Mark and Heat Embossed It with Black Embossing Powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment.
It looked so plain, so I made some score lines using my Martha Stewart Score Board. I do think that helped it so much.
The two Stamp Sets that I used are Garden Silhouettes and Brighter Tomorrow. I had made a Card like this a few years ago. I thought it made a nice Sympathy Card.
Hope you liked my Card and maybe you can find some Inspiration from It to make some Sympathy Cards. So glad you took the time to stop by. Hope you can stop back by sometime. Happy Day to you all. Mamaw Cindy
