Hi and Welcome to the "HAVE AN OWLSOME FALL Y'ALL BLOG HOP" I'm Sooo Excited that It's finally the Day for this Blog Hop! Fall is my Favorite time of year and I am addicted to Owls! So to have two of my favorite things together. Well it just don't get any better than that.
This is a Two Day Hop and I am on day Two. So If you just happened to visit my blog today and would like to Hop along you can start at the beginning with our Host Heather Lynn If you just came from Erica S. blog, then you are at the right place.
Since I Love Fall and Owls so much I wanted my Project to be something that I could really enjoy. So after some thinking I thought that I would make some kind of Centerpiece Decoration, that I could sit up.
So I decided to make a Fall Owl Tree. I got two rectangle pieces of Styro Foam.Glued them together and glued them to a Cardboard base and glued sheets of moss to the Styro Foam. Drew a Tree on Cardboard. Cut it out with an Exacto Knife. Added Paper.Cut out again. The Owls that I made are from the Cricut Cartridges- Hoot n Holler,Paisley and Gypsy Wanderings. The Leaves were made with the Disney Mickey and Friends Cartridge and I stamped them using the Itty Bitty Backgrounds Stamp Set from Stampin Up. The Acorns were made with the Create a Critter Cartridge and Embossed the tops with the Swiss Dots Folder. The Fence was made with the Mini Monsters Cartridge and I Embossed them with the Tim Holtz Wood Grain Folder. The Pumpkins were made with the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge. Used the Dot,Dot, Dot Stamp from Stampin Up on the tall Pumpkins. The Sign was cut from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge and Stamped with the Weathered Background Stamp from Stampin Up. The Squirrel was cut from the Cindy Loo Cartridge.
Oh, Isn't my Fall Owl Tree just to Cute!!!! I LOVE IT! Everyone that has came to visit me wants to take it home with them. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hope that wasn't to many pictures and I Hope that you like It to.
And what would a Blog Hop be without a Giveaway! For my Giveaway I wanted to give something that was for Fall and Owls. So when I seen this, I knew it was perfect! It's a Leaf Candle Holder with a Sweet little Hooty Owl sitting on it. Isn't it Cute! Of Course I bought my self one to and a couple of more for my Sister and Daughter.
