Graduation Decorations!

This past Saturday my niece McKinley  graduated High School. Makes me a little sad to know she Is all grown up. Seems like only yesterday she would run in my arms and tell me that I was her
favorite Aunt.

She Is  a special girl, so good and kind to everyone she meets. A great roll model to all girls. She Is the Drum Major of our hometown Band. Most everyone thinks she has been the best one we have ever had.  I agree!

If you seen my last post, I was In a Graduation Blog Hop and I had make a card for her.
Now I would like to share a few things I did for her party.

First thing that I made, was a Graduate Hat Box for people to place her cards in.

You can not tell but the letters were cut in yellow glitter cardstock and was cut from the Cricut Classic Font cartridge.

Painted several coats of purple acrylic paint on the hat box and foam board. Hot glued together and cut out slot. I think It came out pretty good and got lots of compliments on it at the party.

I also cut out some 2016 in purple glitter paper and some hats in black glitter paper to put in the center pieces for the tables. Cut out from the Child's Year Cartridge.

I think It added a lot to the centerpieces. Unfortunately In the picture It looks more blue than purple.

Congratulations McKinley!!! So proud of you!

Also today Is Memorial Day, the day Americans honor our fallen Soldiers.

So If you see a Veteran or a soldier in active duty, please remember to Thank them for their service.

Hope you have a nice long weekend and thanks again for stopping by.
