You Are My Happy Card

Hey Crafter's, Thanks for taking the time to visit. For my card share today I have created my very first Mini Slimline card.

I used a stamp set from Close to My Heart called Ice Cream Dream

to make the Ice cream bar. Colored it with Arrtx and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

For the little dots on the background I used a retired stamp from S.U. called Itty Bitty Backgrounds. I use that set so much. It's one of those sets that I could never part with.

I wanted some larger dots but didn't want them perfectly shaped, so I used an eraser on a pencil and it worked great.

The colors of ink that I used were pumpkin pie, bashful blue and memento black.

I will definitely be making some more slimeline cards, love the size.

Thanks for stopping by, would love for you to leave me a comment.

Have a great day!

  1. CAS and fun card... and mini slimlines are a favorite of mine. I too like stamps that give you the same affect as splattering ink, that's my comfort zone. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and please come back and share more of your projects with us.

  3. Such a fun card, Cindy! Mini-slimline cards are such a nice alternative to the more common sizes. I think I need to check my freezer for a sugar-free popsicle - I know there are a few in there! Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble Challenge #146. -- Melanie R.
