Little Owl for my Craftroom

Hello Crafters. Hope you all are having a nice Tuesday. The sun Is shinning here today. About a week ago I opened up my new Cricut. Actually had It a good while but just now turning It on and getting It set up. So I am still learning and there Is a lot to learn. ( But I'm still going to use my Expression and Gypsy.)

For my first project to make I thought I would try something simple. Found this cute little Owl on there and It was one of the free Images and I love Owls. My craft room curtains even has Owls on them.

So thought I would share a picture of a little Owl that I made for my craftroom.

For my first project I thought It turned out pretty cute. There wasn't a shadow for this so I just cut out another piece of the main Image and made It a  little bigger. It's o.k. I do know there Is away to make shadows on design space. That's something I have on my list of things to learn.

Here Is a list of things I used to make this little Owl. (I think I cut It at 7 Inches.)

Owl- Free Image on Design Space
Card Stock- Wild Wasabi, More Mustard,Chocolate Chip,Very Vanilla. Bright green and gray from my scrap cardstock tote.
Stamps- Swirls- Recollections- Fun Borders
and the Spots are Prima
Little Scissors Die

Will be posting some other projects soon. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Day to you.

  1. Your owl is just adorable! It is going to look so great in your craft room. My friend just gave me a new cricut explore air and I have to get the courage to open it up. I'm still using my Cricut Epression! Thanks for sharing!
