Got Up... Got Coffee Note Holder

Hello Crafter's, It's the 12th of November. It's a day that I have been looking forward to. It's the first day of the 2021 Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. EKK!!! So exciting!

I always have so much fun during this hop and of course I had to make a coffee project.

Not very often but every now and then, I like to draw, usually while watching tv. A while back I drew this Image and thought it was cute enough to color and create a project with it.

So here is my coffee themed project

For my project I decided to make a note pad holder so that I could enjoy it in my craft room.

I colored my owl and branch image in alcohol markers. I made up the sentiment and printed it out in Cricut Design Space.

I named my owl, Owlene. I couldn't help singing Dolly Parton's song Jolene and changing the name to Owlene. Ha!

Owlene still looks a little sleepy but she's got Jesus and coffee in her purple cup, so she's all good and has everything she needs to start the day.

The brown cardstock is Close to Cocoa from Stampin Up and I embossed it with a woodgrain embossing folder. The patterned paper is from a 12x12 paper pad I have. I made some speckles around the image from a stamp set called Itty Bitty Backgrounds from S.U. the ink used was Bashful Blue. I also added some jute twine.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my coffee project and hope you get a chance to create a coffee project for the link up.

My Coffee project is #127 on the Linky
